The château de Kernabat is an important ensemble comprising a main dwelling with a return wing, a chapel, a service building, a dovecot, an entrance gateway, a mall and terraced gardens. The estate dates essentially from the last third of the 17th century (some architectural details date from the 16th century, when a first manor was built). The main dwelling, rebuilt around 1680-1700 for Claude d'Acigné, incorporates the old manor from the late 16th century. Sold in 1888 to the Kerouartz, the château is restored in 1901 by Dussauze, architect in Angers, who rebuilds the garden façade of the chapel and modifies the roofs of the service buildings. The building, abandoned since 1912, has recently been repurchased by a religious congregation.
