En 1932, Dampt reçoit sa dernière commande de lEtat. Il sagit dun monument pour les sources de la Marne quil conçoit sous la forme dun triptyque. Seule la partie centrale est réalisée. Loeuvre est déposée en 1935 à Châtillon-sur-Seine, en mémoire du PC du maréchal Joffre, installé dans la commune le 5 septembre 1914. Le monument représente le maréchal Joffre accompagné du colonel Gamelin et de la déesse Athéna.

History
In 1932, Dampt receives his last commission from the State. It is a monument for the sources of the Marne which he conceives in the form of a triptych. Only the central part is realized. The work is deposited in 1935 at Châtillon-sur-Seine, in memory of the PC of Marshal Joffre, installed in the commune on 5 September 1914.
