History
This building, erected in the mid-20th century, is constructed according to an E-shaped plan. Monumental statues, bas-reliefs and metal joinery ornament the external architecture of the edifice. The main building houses an entrance hall and a large amphitheatre. The return wings and floors are devoted to lecture halls, laboratories and libraries, among others. The top floor accommodates the student common room as well as offices. The large Pasteur amphitheatre has retained its furnishings from the Prouvé workshops.
