Cette sépulture princière accompagnée d'un mobilier exceptionnel, dont un cratère de bronze datable des environs de 500 AC, est un témoignage majeur pour la connaissance du monde celte. History
This princely burial accompanied by exceptional furnishings, including a bronze crater dateable to around 500 BC, is major evidence for knowledge of the Celtic world. Discovered in the early 1950s, the tomb in a "wooden casket" contained elements of a four-wheeled chariot, jewellery including a gold torque, metal vessels, Greek pottery with black motifs on a red ground. The remains of the skeleton made it possible to identify the body of a woman in her thirties. The mound measures approximately 38 metres and the tumulus is surrounded by a crown of stone.
