Historique

History
Building constructed in 1891-1892 on the plans of the architect Clapier. The building comprises a ground floor for commercial use, two main storeys, an attic storey and a roof space. The attic storey is, at the end of the 19th century, one of the characteristics of the so-called Haussmann building. It is recognized by the clear separation that distinguishes it from the lower storeys, materialized by a continuous balcony. The building is in the category of large-scale corner buildings for which the architect chose to treat the angled corner as a true bay of elevation. The façade decoration is centred mainly on the rotunda of the angled corner and is characterized by work on the building material, as well as a reference to the classical orders. An abundant figured decoration emphasizes the levels of the corner rotunda. Ironwork present in the form of balconies.
