History
The castle, which may date back to the 15th century, consists of a rectangular main dwelling with a staircase tower almost at the centre of the principal façade. The entire building is constructed of Ligneyrac limestone, with the exception of the spiral staircase executed in Collonges sandstone. Internally, several rooms have retained ceilings with exposed beams and interesting fireplaces (in particular, the stone fireplace in the drawing room with its remarkable painting on its hood and the wooden fireplace of the 17th century on the upper floor).
