Le premier se situait au chevet de l'église, le deuxième près des jardins de l'Hôtel-Dieu, le dernier - et seul conservé - près des murs de la ville, au nord de l'enclos. Il fut bâti en 1625 grâce à un don fait en 1620 par madame de Marillac.

History
The rule of Saint Teresa of Avila provided that the nuns could withdraw into isolation thanks to hermitages placed in nature. In order to comply with these recommendations, the Carmelites who arrived in Bourges in 1617 constructed, within their enclosure, three hermitages. The first was situated at the chevet of the church, the second near the gardens of the Hôtel-Dieu, the last - and the only one preserved - near the town walls, to the north of the enclosure. It was built in 1625 thanks to a donation made in 1620 by Madame de Marillac.
