History
The edifice, as it presents itself in its current form, dates, in its essentials, from the 15th century. The built ensemble is constituted of two successive quadrilaterals which delimit the large agricultural courtyard as well as the high courtyard of the seigneurial dwelling. From the Middle Ages, the château adopts the principle of moats and corners flanked by round towers and blind curtain walls. The fortress underwent important architectural modifications in the 17th century and, in the 19th century, alterations were undertaken, notably those of the garden. Today, the château houses a service and work assistance establishment.
