Historique
Edifice du diocèse de Saintes remontant au 11e siècle. Façade plaquée à l'ouest datant du 12e siècle. Reconstruction du choeur surélevé et voûté fin 12e-début 13e siècle. Au 14e siècle, agrandissement de la nef par la construction d'une chapelle sur le côté nord. En 1780, cloche en bronze fondue par Gansbeigen. Sa façade s'inscrit dans un profond ébrasement avec quatre rouleaux sans décor et neuf arcades au-dessus. Le décor sculpté se limite aux métopes et aux modillons de la corniche. Le choeur, du début de la période gothique, a conservé sa voûte, avec son triplet au chevet sommé d'un demi oculus.

History
Building from the diocese of Saintes dating back to the 11th century. Façade applied to the west dating from the 12th century. Reconstruction of the raised and vaulted choir late 12th-early 13th century. In the 14th century, enlargement of the nave by the construction of a chapel on the north side. In 1780, bronze bell cast by Gansbeigen. Its façade is inscribed in a deep splay with four rolls without decoration and nine arcades above. The sculptured decoration is limited to the metopes and the modillions of the cornice. The choir, from the early gothic period, has retained its vault, with its triplet at the chevet topped by a half oculus.
