L'ancienne seigneurie de Forge relevait du fief de La Rochandry. Le logis remonterait au 15e siècle (baies à meneaux ; tour ronde avec escalier à vis sur la façade Est). Deux tours rectangulaires ornent la façade arrière. Leurs lucarnes, d'époque Renaissance, sont décorées d'une coquille Saint-Jacques, d'une tour, d'un singe, d'un aigle et d'un éléphant. History
The former seigneurie of Forge was dependent on the fief of La Rochandry. The main dwelling would date back to the 15th century (openings with mullions; round tower with spiral staircase on the east façade). Two rectangular towers ornament the rear façade. Their dormers, of Renaissance period, are decorated with a scallop shell, a tower, a monkey, an eagle and an elephant. In 1791, the estate is transformed into a paper mill using the energy supplied by the spring and the fall of the pond. Several buildings were added to the main dwelling during the 18th and 19th centuries to ensure the functioning of the paper mill.
