Succédant à deux temples précédents, le temple protestant de Segonzac est construit de 1864 à 1869 sur les plans de l'architecte Demenieux. Il frappe d'abord par sa monumentalité, qui traduit l'importance de la communauté protestante dans la capitale de la Grande-Champagne. Façade ordonnancée (pilastres jumelés, décor en relief du fronton). Le mobilier est dû également au même architecte (chaire, panneaux, bancs, lustres, ...) et est intégralement conservé.

History
Succeeding two previous temples, the Protestant temple of Segonzac is built from 1864 to 1869 on the plans of the architect Demenieux. It strikes first by its monumentality, which reflects the importance of the Protestant community in the capital of Grande-Champagne. Ordered façade (coupled pilasters, relief decoration of the pediment). The furnishings are also due to the same architect (pulpit, panels, benches, chandeliers, ...) and are entirely preserved.
