La fondation de l'église pourrait remonter à la fin du 12e ou au début du 13e siècle. History
The foundation of the church could date back to the end of the 12th or the beginning of the 13th century. The walls of the nave were raised to create defences above the vaults, probably at the time of the Hundred Years' War. The church was remodelled and restored in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is representative of buildings on the Limousin borders of the Poitou-Charentes region and of the survival of rural Romanesque churches into the Gothic period.
