La station radar de Douvres est un des maillons principaux de la chaîne de stations radars dont le mur de l'Atlantique était pourvu. Construite en 1942, la station comptait une trentaine de bunkers ou postes fortifiés ainsi que cinq radars, répartis sur deux sites. La station radar détectait les avions alliés dès leur envol des côtes anglaises et permettaient de donner l'ordre de tir. Aujourd'hui, le Musée du Radar occupe une partie du site et abrite, bien que partiellement d'origine, un radar Würzburg.

History
The Dover radar station was one of the main links in the chain of radar stations with which the Atlantic Wall was equipped. Built in 1942, the station comprised some thirty bunkers or fortified posts as well as five radars, distributed across two sites. The radar station detected Allied aircraft as soon as they took off from the English coasts and made it possible to give the firing order. Today, the Radar Museum occupies part of the site and houses, although only partially original, a Würzburg radar.
