Le château de Monts est une bâtisse édifiée au milieu du 18ème siècle et se compose d'un logis à sept travées. Cette demeure érigée sur une légère élévation est entourée d'un espace paysager permettant sa mise en valeur. History
The château de Monts is a building erected in the middle of the 18th century and is composed of a main dwelling of seven bays. This residence erected on a slight elevation is surrounded by a landscape space allowing its enhancement. Two avenues lead to the château and a basin without fountain extends the visual opening in the direction of the west. In the 19th century, a sort of pleasure garden, vast and bordered by a circular avenue, was laid out replacing a forecourt. A vast building of outbuildings housing stable, carriage house and dwelling was established at the period corresponding to the construction of the château. The château de Monts fits within a line of buildings often found in the 18th century in this region and perfectly reflects the lifestyle of the minor and middle nobility in Lower Normandy.
