Le bureau de Poste de Gambetta, uvre de l'architecte régional Pierre Chirol, est une construction qui date de 1932. Il s'agit d'un bâtiment en béton armé doté de vastes baies et de grands plateaux qui allie à la fois un style classique dans la composition des façades et un modernisme Art Déco mesuré que l'on retrouve dans le toit terrasse et le second uvre. History
The Gambetta Post Office, work of regional architect Pierre Chirol, is a construction dating from 1932. It is a reinforced concrete building endowed with vast openings and large floors which combines both a classical style in the composition of the façades and a measured Art Deco modernism which is found in the roof terrace and the second fixing. In 1944, following the damage it sustained, the building is given an additional wing, along rue Lebret. The architecture of this new element is the exact reflection of the initial construction. The interior is, for its part, entirely modernised, leaving no trace of the old circulations.
