Historique
Eglise construite au début du 12e siècle, modifiée au 17e par la suppression de deux travées de la nef et la création d'un mur pignon en façade. En 1833, des travaux de confortation sont entrepris. De même en 1849 avec la reprise de l'arc diaphragme du chur. Entre 1886 et 1889, le peintre Chifflet décore l'ensemble de l'édifice, à partir du motif de l'arbre de Jessé dont chaque branche se termine par un médaillon contenant les ancêtres du Christ. Le baptême du Christ est représenté sur le tympan de l'arc triomphal. Cet ensemble peint constitue le second grand programme décoratif de Chifflet, après celui d'Athis-de-l'Orne.

History
Church constructed at the beginning of the 12th century, modified in the 17th by the removal of two bays of the nave and the creation of a gable wall on the façade. In 1833, shoring work was undertaken. Similarly in 1849 with the repair of the diaphragm arch of the choir. Between 1886 and 1889, the painter Chifflet decorated the entire building, starting from the motif of the Tree of Jesse with each branch ending in a medallion containing the ancestors of Christ. The Baptism of Christ is depicted on the tympanum of the triumphal arch. This painted ensemble constitutes Chifflet's second major decorative programme, after that of Athis-de-l'Orne.
