Construite en 1970, il sagit de la première maison véritablement aboutie de larchitecte André Bruyère. Elle est composée de trois corps de bâtiments articulés autour dune cour : lhabitation principale, le bâtiment des studios et le garage. Conçus en agglomérés pleins, ils sont unifiés par leurs toitures courbes peintes en blanc et par leurs façades recouvertes dun sous-enduit beige marqué de coups de truelle. Lobservation du milieu naturel a conduit larchitecte à opter pour une implantation traditionnelle, à labri de la colline et au plus près de leau du canal.

History
Built in 1970, this is the first truly accomplished house by the architect André Bruyère. It is composed of three building blocks articulated around a courtyard: the main dwelling, the studios building and the garage. Designed in solid aggregates, they are unified by their curved roofs painted white and by their façades covered with a beige render marked by trowel marks. Observation of the natural environment led the architect to opt for a traditional implantation, sheltered by the hillside and as close as possible to the water of the canal.
