Dernier phare construit en Camargue après ceux de Faraman et de La Gacholle. Le 18 juillet 1898, une décision ministérielle officialise la construction d'un phare à Beauduc pour signaler l'anse du même nom qui abritait les navires en difficulté et mettre fin à la confusion des navigateurs entre le feu de Faraman et celui de Planier, responsable de nombreux naufrages. C'est un phare de jalonnement côtier peu élevé (27,20m) ne servant qu'à signaler le danger de la pointe de Beauduc. Sa construction s'est échelonnée de 1901 à 1903, année de sa mise en service. Construction en pierre de taille pour le fût et bronze pour la lanterne. Le phare est automatisé depuis 2001.

History
Last lighthouse built in Camargue after those of Faraman and La Gacholle.
