Oppidum ceint d'un rempart fortifié de dix tours carrées, doublé intérieurement d'un mur enclos, ce qui représente un système défensif double unique dans le Midi. Construction du dernier tiers du 6e siècle a-c, le site est occupé jusqu'au milieu du 5e siècle a-c, avec une fréquentation sporadique au cours des 4e et 3e siècles. History
Oppidum surrounded by a fortified rampart with ten square towers, doubled internally by an enclosing wall, which represents a unique double defensive system in the South. Construction from the last third of the 6th century BC, the site is occupied until the middle of the 5th century BC, with sporadic frequentation during the 4th and 3rd centuries. Ceramic remains show that this is a native settlement. The arrangement of cells between rampart and enclosure on the one hand, and within the enclosure on the other hand, might suggest a mixed population, probably a Greek garrison occupying the summit of this native settlement.
