Le château remonterait au 12e siècle et serait à l'origine de la construction du village. Gros travaux, notamment sur la toiture, au début du 17e siècle. En 1789, le château est vendu comme bien national. Au cours du 19e siècle, il est donné à des oeuvres charitables, avant d'être vendu à la commune en 1960. Depuis 1990, il abrite un musée d'art et de tradition populaire.

History
