History
Edifice built between 1932 and 1935 in replacement of a smaller building. The building is integrated into the development of a plot which includes a post office and a police station, built at the same time as the town hall and by the same architects, Hugot and Roger. The town hall presents a geometric design inspired by Art Deco style. The use of concrete and the importance given to decorative elements in wrought iron, is meant to be representative of the avant-garde architecture of this period.
