Connu depuis le 14e siècle, le château actuel est dû à Louis Sébastien Grundler, comte et général d'Empire. Les travaux commencent en 1833 et l'aile des communs, qui s'ajoute au plan en U initial, est achevée en 1844. History
Known since the 14th century, the present château is due to Louis Sébastien Grundler, count and general of the Empire. Work begins in 1833 and the wing of outbuildings, which is added to the original U-shaped plan, is completed in 1844. In the course of the 18th century, a lower courtyard is constructed, the double moat enclosure is reduced, and a large park with formal garden extends to the rear of the château.
