Château édifié par le maître de forge Nicolas Deruë. Le portail du château porte la date 1760 qui doit correspondre à celle de la construction du bâtiment. Le plan le plus ancien est une élévation de la façade sur cour réalisé à la fin du 18e siècle pour l'ajout de deux pavillons latéraux. Le cadastre ancien montre que la cour d'entrée possédait une aile sud, détruite après la première guerre mondiale. L'aile d'entrée de la cour a fait aussi à cette époque l'objet d'une reconstruction presque totale. Le corps de logis n'a pas connu de modifications importantes. Le haut comble en pavillon semble une référence à l'architecture du 17e siècle. La façade sur jardin ressemble aux façades des grosses maisons du 18e siècle.

History
Castle built by master forgemaster Nicolas Deruë. The castle gateway bears the date 1760 which should correspond to that of the building's construction. The oldest plan is an elevation of the courtyard façade made at the end of the 18th century for the addition of two lateral pavilions. The old cadastral map shows that the entrance courtyard possessed a south wing, destroyed after the First World War.
