La grotte du Dérocs est fouillée depuis le XIXe siècle. Des peintures rouges ont été découvertes en 1973, 2002 et 2007. Les vestiges d'une décoration pariétale (surtout des encornures et des avant-train de bouquetin et des séries de ponctuations) sont rattachés au Paléolithique supérieur. Les traces de ponctuations renvoient à celles de la grotte Chauvet.

History
The cave of Dérocs has been excavated since the 19th century. Red paintings were discovered in 1973, 2002 and 2007. The remains of parietal decoration (mainly horn coverts and front sections of ibex and series of punctuations) are attributed to the Upper Palaeolithic.
