Modeste édifice de la fin du Moyen-Age, l'ancienne chapelle de la confrérie des pénitents blancs est un simple parallélépipède de trois travées, couvert d'un toit à deux versants en bardeaux de mélèze. Elle a été construite au 15e siècle, remaniée aux 16e et 17e siècles. Monumental décor peint de la fin de la période gothique découvert en septembre 1996 sur le mur du choeur derrière un grand retable du 17e siècle. Décor a tempera représentant un décor d'architecture et sept personnages (Saint-Pierre de Vérone, Sainte-Marguerite d'Antioche, la Vierge à l'Enfant, Saint-Louis d'Anjou ou de Toulouse, un saint évêque bénissant ; les deux autres personnages sont à peine discernables). Ces peintures datent des années 1470-1475 et sont attribuées à Giovanni Baleison, peintre originaire du Piémont.

History
A modest building from the end of the Middle Ages, the former chapel of the confraternity of the white penitents is a simple parallelepiped of three bays, covered with a two-slope roof of larch shingles. It was built in the 15th century, remodelled in the 16th and 17th centuries. Monumental painted decoration from the late Gothic period discovered in September 1996 on the choir wall behind a large 17th-century altarpiece. Tempera decoration representing an architectural décor and seven figures (Saint Peter of Verona, Saint Margaret of Antioch, the Virgin and Child, Saint Louis of Anjou or Toulouse, a blessing saint bishop; the two other figures are barely discernible). These paintings date from around 1470-1475 and are attributed to Giovanni Baleison, a painter from Piedmont.
