Historique
La maison des Têtes est l'un des quelques immeubles de Briançon conservés après l'incendie de 1692. Un premier incendie en 1624 avait peu détruit l'immeuble (murs et boutiques du rez-de-chaussée conservés). Les plafonds à la française conservés dans les couloirs ont certainement été réalisés entre les deux incendies. Dans le courant du 18e siècle, décor de lambris. La façade sur la rue de la Gargouille a été rhabillée au début du 20e siècle, en s'inspirant de la maison des Têtes de Valence : bustes en bas-reliefs représentant la famille du propriétaire de l'époque en coiffe briançonnaise. History
The house of the Heads is one of the few buildings in Briançon preserved after the fire of 1692.
