History
Devastated during the First World War, the castle was restored identically. Part of the park preserves, on the side of the entrance, an ancient arrangement with the kitchen garden which could date from the 17th century. Another part constitutes an ordered complex, commanded by the surrounding landscape, bearing the mark of the English landscape gardener Thomas Blaikie.
