Edifié en brique et en pierre par l'architecte D'Hont pour la famille de La Rochefoucauld, l'édifice reprend le parti des châteaux classiques. A l'intérieur, la salle à manger et la chapelle conservent un décor de style années 1925-1930. Quelques communs subsistent, en partie du 19e siècle, ainsi que le mur d'une ancienne orangerie. L'édifice se situe dans un domaine boisé clos.

History
Built on the site of a former abbey of Celestines, the castle was rebuilt after the First World War. Erected in brick and stone by the architect D'Hont for the family of La Rochefoucauld, the edifice follows the pattern of classical castles. Inside, the dining room and chapel retain decoration in the style of 1925-1930. Some outbuildings remain, partly from the 19th century, as well as the wall of a former orangery. The edifice is situated in an enclosed wooded domain.
