Ferme construite à partir de 1923 par l'architecte Adrien Blomme, à l'initiative du baron Evence Coppée, industriel belge qui décida de reconstruire le paysage rural et agricole de l'Aisne et de la Somme après les dévastations de la guerre. Il rachète plusieurs sucreries et fonde la société industrielle et sucrière de la Somme. 4000 hectares sont remis en culture et treize fermes reconstruites, dont celle d'Essigny constitue le meilleur exemple de ce projet novateur d'agriculture industrialisée.

History
Farm constructed from 1923 by the architect Adrien Blomme, at the initiative of baron Evence Coppée, a Belgian industrialist who decided to reconstruct the rural and agricultural landscape of the Aisne and the Somme after the devastations of war.
