Historique
Monument en granit élevé en 1925 à l'endroit précis où les plénipotentiaires allemands traversèrent les lignes françaises pour recevoir les conditions de l'armistice le 7 novembre 1918. Le monument, conçu par l'architecte Louis Rey, a été dynamité par les allemands en 1940. Il fut reconstruit et de nouveau inauguré en 1948. En retrait du monument subsistent quelques vestiges de la pierre originelle détruite en 1940.

History
Monument in granite erected in 1925 at the precise location where the German plenipotentiaries crossed the French lines to receive the armistice conditions on 7 November 1918. The monument, designed by architect Louis Rey, was dynamited by the Germans in 1940. It was reconstructed and again inaugurated in 1948. Set back from the monument remain a few vestiges of the original stone destroyed in 1940.
