Le site semble fortifié depuis le milieu du 12e siècle. L'édifice de plan rectangulaire est entouré de divers aménagements : fossés, terrasses, courtine. Le logis consiste en un long bâtiment comportant, à chaque extrémité, une tour non saillante et une tourelle d'escalier au centre de la façade. L'ensemble peut être attribué à la fin du 15e siècle et illustre l'architecture féodale finissante. En 1793, le château brûle. Il subit également des pillages et des destructions.

History
The site appears to have been fortified since the middle of the 12th century. The building with rectangular plan is surrounded by various arrangements: ditches, terraces, curtain wall. The main dwelling consists of a long building with, at each end, a non-projecting tower and a staircase turret in the center of the façade. The whole can be attributed to the end of the 15th century and illustrates waning feudal architecture. In 1793, the castle burned. It also suffered plundering and destruction.
