Exemple de maison forte savoyarde médiévale, appartenant au type des "tours résidentielles". La construction est datée aux environs de 1340. Edifice de plan rectangulaire, en pierre, sur trois niveaux, avec baies à meneaux et coussièges dans la salle haute, ainsi qu'un placard de pierre géminé à moulure festonnée. Quelques transformations sont faites au 16e siècle : refend supplémentaire dans la partie nord-est reposant sur une grande arcade renforçant le voûtement de la cave, portes à linteaux en accolade et percement de baies à meneaux ou croisées en façade est. Au cours des 17e et 18e siècles, les cheminées sont transformées et des peintures murales sont ajoutées.

History
Example of a medieval Savoyard fortified house, belonging to the type of "residential towers". The construction is dated to around 1340. Building of rectangular plan, in stone, over three levels, with mullioned openings and window seats in the upper room, as well as a twin stone cupboard with scalloped moulding. Some alterations were made in the 16th century: additional partition in the north-east part resting on a large arch reinforcing the vault of the cellar, doors with ogee lintels and opening of mullioned or cross openings on the east façade. During the 17th and 18th centuries, the fireplaces were transformed and murals were added.
