La chapelle remonte à l'époque romane, comme en témoigne son abside semi-circulaire. De plan simple, cet édifice offre un bon exemple de ce que pouvaient être la plupart des églises de la vallée d'Aure avant les transformations intervenues aux 16e et 17e siècles : abside semi-circulaire, nef unique, porte au sud, campanile sur le pignon occidental. La chapelle abrite quatre peintures murales et deux peintures sur bois provenant de l'ancien lambris de couvrement.

History
The chapel dates from the Romanesque period, as evidenced by its semi-circular apse. Of simple plan, this building offers a good example of what most of the churches of the Aure valley could have been before the transformations that occurred in the 16th and 17th centuries: semi-circular apse, single nave, door on the south, bell tower on the western gable. The chapel houses four wall paintings and two paintings on wood from the former covering panels.
