Abbaye de l'ordre de Chalais fondée à la fin du 12e siècle, en 1185. Le choix du site était essentiellement dû à la qualité des terres. History
Abbey of the Chalais order founded at the end of the 12th century, in 1185. The choice of site was essentially due to the quality of the land. The old village, abandoned since 1948, was built on the edges of the former abbey. Of the primitive monastery, only part of the walls of the nave and choir of the church remain.
