La chapelle fut fondée à une époque antérieure au 16e siècle. L'entrée se fait par une porte Renaissance ornée de losanges et, de chaque côté, de pilastres portant des chapiteaux à feuillages. Elle possède encore deux travées de voûtes du 15e siècle, à liernes et tiercerons, avec retombée des arcs en faisceau sur colonnes.

History
The chapel was linked to the manor. It belonged to the lord but served as a place of worship for the inhabitants of the village. The seigniory came under Thouars with homage ligé. The chapel was founded at a period prior to the 16th century. Entry is by a Renaissance door ornamented with lozenges and, on each side, with pilasters bearing capitals with foliage.
