The oldest surviving racecourse stands in France, contemporary with the great castle, designed by architect H. Daumet. In 1880-1881, construction of the great public stand and the committee stand (former prince's stand), rebuilt by Saint-Ange in 1891. The weighing room building was constructed in 1911 by architect Girault.
