Ancien castelnau mentionné dès le 11e siècle. L'église est en partie romane (11e-12e siècle). La nef à quatre travées et les huit chapelles latérales voûtées d'ogives dans le style gothique méridional sont édifiées au 15e siècle. A l'intérieur, le choeur roman comporte des peintures murales de la fin du 13e siècle (coupole, arcatures et murs) , semblant être l'oeuvre d'un atelier venu du nord de la France. En 1892 Marcelin Labedan effectue d'importants repeints. Le 4 avril 1980 le clocher octogonal d'origine s'effondre. Il est reconstruit à une faible distance du chevet roman.

History
Former castelnau mentioned from the 11th century. The church is partly Romanesque (11th-12th century). The nave with four bays and the eight lateral chapels with rib vaults in the southern Gothic style are built in the 15th century. Inside, the Romanesque choir features wall paintings from the end of the 13th century (cupola, arcatures and walls), appearing to be the work of a workshop from northern France. In 1892 Marcelin Labedan carries out significant repainting. On 4 April 1980 the original octagonal bell tower collapses. It is rebuilt at a short distance from the Romanesque chevet.
