Dans la cour réalisée en style néo-Renaissance, l'architecte intègre huit arcades et leur décor, provenant de la destruction de l'ancien hôtel des Pins (16e siècle) , victime vers 1899 des percées "haussmanniennes" à Toulouse. Le commanditaire de l'hôtel mélange les portraits sculptés de sa famille avec des médaillons authentiques, oeuvres des sculpteurs de la Renaissance Jean Sajous ou Nicolas Bachelier.

History
Hotel built from 1901 to 1904 by the Toulouse architect Jules Calbairac for Paul-Marius Thomas, a wealthy flour-mill industrialist. In the courtyard realised in neo-Renaissance style, the architect integrates eight arcades and their decoration, coming from the demolition of the old Hôtel des Pins (16th century), a victim around 1899 of the "Haussmann-style" openings in Toulouse. The patron of the hotel mixes sculptured portraits of his family with authentic medallions, works of Renaissance sculptors Jean Sajous or Nicolas Bachelier.
