Usine de production de fonte créée en 1890 pour les frères Stumm ; les premiers hauts fourneaux sont installés entre 1890 et 1904. En 1918, l'usine passe sous le contrôle de la Société Nord et Lorraine qui reconstruit plusieurs des bâtiments actuellement existants : les bureaux (1925) , la chaufferie (1929) et le bâtiment des machines soufflantes. Les hauts fourneaux U4 et U3 sont reconstruits de 1932 à 1935, et modifiés en 1969. L'usine est désaffectée en 1991. Seul le haut fourneau U4 subsiste avec l'essentiel de ses annexes.

History
Iron foundry production works created in 1890 for the Stumm brothers; the first blast furnaces are installed between 1890 and 1904. In 1918, the works pass under the control of the Société Nord et Lorraine which rebuilds several of the buildings currently existing: the offices (1925), the heating plant (1929) and the blowing engine building. Blast furnaces U4 and U3 are rebuilt from 1932 to 1935, and modified in 1969. The works are decommissioned in 1991. Only blast furnace U4 subsists with the essential of its annexes.
