Intérêt ethnologique de cet ensemble. Le logis porte la date de 1756 sur un linteau. La grange ovale à toit de chaume peut être datée du milieu du 18e siècle. Au 19e siècle, cinq granges ovales existent au lieudit La Rivière. Seule une grange subsiste aujourd'hui comme rare témoin du patrimoine vernaculaire du Limousin.

History
Ethnological interest of this ensemble. The main dwelling bears the date 1756 on a lintel. The oval barn with thatched roof can be dated to the mid-18th century. In the 19th century, five oval barns exist at the place called La Rivière. Only one barn survives today as a rare testimony to the vernacular heritage of Limousin.
