Château du 18e siècle, agrandi au 19e siècle. Une des pièces du rez-de-chaussée a été décorée d'un papier peint panoramique représentant les campagnes de Bonaparte en Italie. Papier peint intitulé "Les Français en Italie" et réalisé par la fabrique Dufour en 1829. Il comporte 30 lés illustrant le passage des Alpes, l'entrée à Milan, la bataille d'Arcole, les Français à Rome et la prise de Naples. Les panoramiques à sujet militaire de la première moitié du 19e siècle sont devenus très rares. Celui-ci est presque complet car il ne manque que la dernière partie de la "prise de Naples". Le dessin est traité en grisaille avec juste quelques impressions de couleur bleue pour marquer le ciel.

History
18th-century castle, enlarged in the 19th century. One of the rooms on the ground floor was decorated with panoramic wallpaper depicting Bonaparte's campaigns in Italy. Wallpaper entitled "The French in Italy" and produced by the Dufour factory in 1829. It comprises 30 strips illustrating the crossing of the Alps, the entry into Milan, the battle of Arcole, the French in Rome and the taking of Naples. Panoramic wallpapers with military subjects from the first half of the 19th century have become very rare. This one is almost complete as only the last part of the "taking of Naples" is missing. The drawing is treated in grisaille with just a few impressions of blue colour to mark the sky.
