La fortification, dominant la vallée du Trieux, est constituée d'un tertre et d'un enclos. Le tertre ovale, long de 55 m, large de 35 m et haut de 10 m, est situé à l'extrémité ouest du site. La base est chemisée, côté est, par un appareillage de gros blocs de pierres ; la plate-forme sommitale est intacte. On n'observe à sa base aucun fossé, mais il a pu être remblayé.

History
The fortification, dominating the valley of the Trieux, consists of a mound and an enclosure. The oval mound, 55 m long, 35 m wide and 10 m high, is situated at the western extremity of the site. The base is faced, on the east side, by an arrangement of large blocks of stone; the summit platform is intact. At its base no ditch is observed, but it may have been filled in.
