La synagogue a été construite dans la seconde moitié du 18ème siècle, agrandie une première fois en 1850, puis en 1870 par Felder dans le style néo-roman (la structure est celle que nous connaissons actuellement). History
The synagogue was built in the second half of the 18th century, enlarged for the first time in 1850, then in 1870 by Felder in the neo-Romanesque style (the structure is that which we know today). The glazing is all of Baltard style. The building was renovated in 1995. The seat of the Consistoire Israélite du Haut Rhin was established in Wintzenheim by Napoleon I and remained there until its transfer to Colmar.
