Château appartenant à la chaîne de la défense militaire de la Gascogne, qui commandait sans doute une des entrées du village. Un castrum est mentionné dès 1270. History
Castle belonging to the chain of military defence of Gascony, which no doubt commanded one of the entries to the village. A castrum is mentioned from 1270 onwards. The main dwelling is flanked by two opposite towers. The interior is divided by a partition wall in the length direction. The second level ensured the defence. The third level constituted the noble storey, housing the lord's residence. The fourth level was defensive, with battlemented wall-walk, crenellation, machicolations and echauguettes. The castle was protected by an enclosure wall.
