Chartreuse fondée vers les années 1121-1127, transformée à la fin du 14e siècle lors de la suppression de la maison basse, et au 17e siècle. Les bâtiments monastiques se regroupent en trois quartiers distincts : les bâtiments étrangers à la vie conventuelle (boulangerie, menuiserie, forge, cordonnerie, étables...) , les bâtiments de la vie communautaire ou cénobitiques (cloître, sacristie, chapitres, réfectoire, dortoir des convers) et les bâtiments anachorétiques.

Les bâtiments monastiques se regroupent en trois quartiers distincts: les bâtiments étrangers à la vie conventuelle (boulangerie, menuiserie, forge, cordonnerie, étables), les bâtiments de la vie communales ou cénobitique (petit cloître, église, sacristie, chapitres, réfectoire et le dortoir des convers, bibliothèques) et les bâtiments anachorétiques (grand cloitre, galerie, cellules).
