L'église, mentionnée dès le 13e siècle, semble associée à la présence de la fontaine voisine (Fontet) , objet d'un culte depuis au moins le 15e siècle. Ce petit édifice campagnard, entouré de son cimetière, ne comporte qu'une nef unique aux murs en moellons couverte d'un plafond lambrissé. A l'intérieur de l'église, un décor peint du début du 16e siècle, en partie dégagé, évoque les Péchés Capitaux et la Passion du Christ. L'église a été remaniée aux 18e et 19e siècles.

History
The church, mentioned from the 13th century, appears to be associated with the presence of the nearby fountain (Fontet), which has been the object of a cult since at least the 15th century. Depending, under the Ancien Régime, on the diocese of Bazas, the parish was in 1802 attached to that of Guérin. This small rural building, surrounded by its cemetery, comprises only a single nave with rubble stone walls covered with a coffered ceiling. Inside the church, painted decoration from the beginning of the 16th century, partly uncovered, evokes the Seven Deadly Sins and the Passion of Christ. The church was remodelled in the 18th and 19th centuries.
