Historique
Le Vieux quartier a été construit entre 1720 et 1732, et le quartier neuf en 1767 pour accueillir la première école d'artillerie créée en France par Louis XV en 1719. Les écuries datent de 1846. History
The Old Quarter was built between 1720 and 1732, and the New Quarter in 1767 to house the first artillery school created in France by Louis XV in 1719. The stables date from 1846. The château de La Fère (late 15th-early 16th century) was purchased by the State in 1820 to be converted into an artillery school. Since 1903, it has been transformed into apartments for officers.
