History
Dry stone oven built in 1914 by Paulin Olivier, assisted by his two sons. Heirs to a long tradition of cade oil exploitation in the region, the Olivier family left many cade ovens, witnesses to their semi-itinerant activity and traces of a sector of the rural economy of the coastal Provence of the Var in the 19th century and early 20th century. Cade oil experienced several commercial outlets with pharmaceutical wholesalers and cosmetics laboratories.
