Un seigneur de Torsiac est mentionné à partir de 1268. L'édifice d'origine (donjon rectangulaire) a été bâti au 14e siècle. History
A lord of Torsiac is mentioned from 1268. The original building (rectangular keep) was built in the 14th century. The rectangular main dwelling, flanked by three round turrets, appears to have been built in the 17th century. Important works were undertaken in the 19th century and considerably altered the appearance of the castle: a large round tower was added on the west corner of the main dwelling, the roofs were remade and a fanciful crowning (machicolations, crenellations) added to the top of the keep. This building is one of the major monuments of the Allagnon valley.
