Château transformé en palais campagnard au 14e siècle par un frère du pape Jean XXII. L'édifice occupe un quadrilatère irrégulier et se compose de bâtiments d'époques diverses, du 13e au 18e siècle. La structure du château semble antérieure au 14e siècle, de même que la tour nord-ouest, l'angle sud-est appelé donjon, la chapelle, le corps de logis nord et les vestiges de courtines. Aux 14e et 15e siècles, construction du corps de logis principal à l'est, et remaniement des ouvertures et divisions de l'aile nord. History
Château transformed into a country palace in the 14th century by a brother of Pope John XXII. The building occupies an irregular quadrilateral and consists of buildings of various periods, from the 13th to the 18th century. The structure of the château appears to be earlier than the 14th century, as do the north-west tower, the south-east corner called keep, the chapel, the north main dwelling and the remains of curtain walls. In the 14th and 15th centuries, construction of the main dwelling to the east, and reworking of the openings and divisions of the north wing. The tower called "des gardes" and the transformations of the chapel belong to the same building campaigns. In the 16th and 18th centuries, new additions and alterations resulted in the present state.
